Pepperpot Design

The Presencing Institute is an online community based at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, committed to investigating ways of making capitalism more sustainable and socially just.

I have been their lead developer since 2009, empowering their suite of websites to deal with a growing community of thousands of users.

More recently I have been working on the new version of the website, built entirely in Drupal, which not only has many community features and ecommerce functionality, but has many 'back office' features to help them administrate their work.

Gloucester Room is a primarily private-facing site that provides the ability for their clients to choose certain pieces of artwork to go on their wedding lists, and publish a code that allows their guests to make contributions towards the artwork.

It also allows the site admin to select and make recommendations of artwork to their clients.

I worked with Madomat on this project, who was responsible for the design.

BBC Openlab is a place for people to conceive and develop open source tools for teaching.  The website has many users with different capabilities.  Members of the public can submit and refine ideas, while staff members can score the ideas and select which ideas will be funded by the BBC.

I worked on the back end, helping to conceive the interface, produce prototypes and eventually to implement the design.

Bray and Krais are an entertainment lawyers specialising in the music industry.

I fully designed and built the site.

Madomat and Dandelion and Burdock approached me to build this content management system for the designer Birgit Israel.  I implemented the site from design mock ups and helped formulate how the site would be structured.

The Church Investors Group website includes a member's area, with the ability for each member to maintain a profile on their organisation, together with a site administration account which can be used to manage the users and all the content on the site.
