Website Design
The amount of work involved in creating a website can vary enormously depending on what you are looking for. As a result, until we have spoken with you about what you want we can only offer the following guidelines:-
Basic site
We can produce very simple sites for as little as £300, and possibly even less. These are likely to have under five pages, without complex design needs or graphics produced by us. However most sites require more work than this.
Medium site
Typically a small business site will contain between five and ten pages, with some graphics produced by us and a small amount of interactivity such as a feedback form. A site such as this is likely to be between £600 and £900.
Larger sites
For larger sites the price goes up as the design and programming demands increase. Sites of more than ten pages with higher levels of graphic design, or sites that require a greater level of interactivity (such as the ability for users to search databases) are likely to fall into this category. Larger sites will usually cost £1,000 +.
Maintenance
We charge a flat rate for any site maintenance. Our current rate is £25 per hour. If you require larger chunks of maintenance work then we can provide a quote for the total job, rather than charging by the hour.
Alternative methods of payment
Pepperpot Design supports skills bartering, as used in Local Exchange Trading Schemes (LETS), in which people give their time in exchange for someone else’s. No money changes hands. It may be that you have a skill or service that might be valuable to one of our members, and it is always worth suggesting this as an alternative.
